2015 IL 101 A Class Champion

On October 3rd and 4th, 2015 the 81st Illinois 101 Counties Open Tournament was held in Marion, IL by the Illinois State Checker Association (ISCA).  Eleven players attended from six states.  Play was
very competitive. The Illinois 101 Counties Champion is John Grisley.  The tournament open champion is Don West.  The B Class top Illinois player is Roger Doll and top tournament scorer is Flavious
Burgess. The tournament played using round-robin pairing, two three round round-robin for six rounds for the A Class and one 7 round round-robin for the B Class.  A good time was had by everyone.
The ISCA is especially thankful to Joe McDaniel for his generous donation to the prize fund.  Please mark your calendar to the first weekend in April 2016 (4/2 - 4/3, 2016) for the 111th Illinois
